Thanks for sharing this sweet testimony. What a blessing to be able to use your gifts for the Lord. He gave you a love for music and worship and then gave you the opportunity to use it in His service. There's nothing sweeter than leading a group in praise and worship of our Savior. Keep up the good work. "Always give yourself fully to the work of the Lord for you know that your labor in Lord is not in vain".

Your message made me cry. You see, I am an older Christian who has always loved music as well. Back in the day, women were not allowed to be music leaders. Just last year, my pastor called me at work and said he had something he wanted me to pray about...being our Praise and Worship Leader! I immediately began to cry! I work at a school, and just 2 weeks prior to that phone call from my pastor, I had told a group of teens that if you can find a job that you would go to every day and love it even if you didn't get a paycheck, then that's what you should do for life. I said, "The only thing I feel that way about is music!" Well, my pastor wasn't there, and those kids don't attend my church, but my LORD heard my heart's cry and answered quickly! I am tearing up just thinking about it!
Thanks for giving us "babes in ministry" some good advice and things to think about. I appreciate you and will be praying for you! Please do the same for me...as I only want to honor the LORD in whatever way He wants me to. Love in Christ, LV
